CASE'ing

 Hi,

Happy Monday! It's been raining here most of the day and it's quite cold.  Not that it really mattered.  Had some quality time out for lunch with my daughter.  Then came back to do a little crafting.

Today's project is a CASE from page 96 of the new annual catalogue.  In case you've not come across a CASE project before it's Copy And Share Everything.  And this one was a challenge for UK demos to CASE the new catalogue.  I love the Color & Contour stamps and the new Perfectly Penciled DSP so it was really easy for me to choose a project for this one!

I've mainly kept the In Colors but added some Mango Melody, Polished Pink and Old Olive.  Also used One Happy Family for the greeting.

Hope you like it!

Monochromatic

Hi!

Hope you're having a lovely Sunday! We went out for lunch at a wee cafe that's opened up locally.  And it was lovely!  Haven't really been out for ages.  And it was so nice not to even have to think about wearing a mask. The cafe is part outdoors and the weather is fine here today so all together a lovely way to get out of the house for a while!

Other than that, a relaxing day!  There's a Stampin' Up! demo blog challenge which ends today and I just made it with this card. The theme was monochromatic, and to try and only use current catalogue.

I used Orchid Oasis as my only colour. The dies are Amazing Thanks (157816), and Hydrangea (154326), and the stamps are from Watercolor Shapes and Color & Contour.

I would usually stamp off the ink with the Watercolor Shapes but I didn't this time so that's why two of the shapes are dark. I like it though.  The Ochid Oasis ink pad is so well inked, and the colour is so intense! The Watercolor Shapes are so effective, and I like the fact you never quite know what the end result will be as there are so many factors which influence the outcome; the amount of ink, the pressure you apply, the type of paper.  Always a unique outcome!

A bit of Artistically Inked!

 Hi,

Second post of the day!  I found another challenge that looked like fun! This time it was a colour challenge from CAS Colours & Sketches.  They chose three of the many gorgeous colours from Stampin' Up!  Pale Papaya, Calypso Coral and Soft Suede.

I've used Artistically Inked and the co-ordinating dies. This was great fun, and so simple to make!  I didn't want to add too much fuss so kept the embellishments to a minimum with 3 lovely little elegant faceted gems (152464).

Hope you like it!

Friendship

 Hi and happy Saturday!

I've been inspired to make this card by the current challenge at Addicted to CAS.  I love a CAS card and the Stampin' Up! stamps lend themselves so well to CAS projects.  This challenge is all about Friendship.  And what better reason to make a card than to say hello to a friend you've maybe not seen in a while.

I've used Wildflower Path and Watercolor Shapes for this card.  And the main sentiment is from the retired Lovely Inside & Out set.  I've stayed with the In Colors and added some Mango Melody.  The watercolour circles are stamped in Parakeet Party up to three times from the one inking. I love this effect!

I hope you like it!   Think of the colour combos that would work on such a simple card!

Have a lovely day!

Cup Of Tea Pop Up!

 Hi!

Having some more fun playing with this set today!  I haven't made a pop up card in ages! And I'd forgotten how easy they are to make! The base for this one is from one sheet of A4 so each side is 7cm, and the total height is 14cm.  It's a really effective but economical use of cardstock and DSP.   The great thing about pop up cards is you can make them any size you like!  I made one that was tiny - 3cm squares with a 6cm height and it was as easy to do as this size.

I've used Old Olive for the larger leaves.  Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler are two of my most favourite colours.  Probably the reason I got hooked on Stampin' Up! all those years ago - they had the most amazing DSP which focussed on those colours and I made all my Christmas cards with them!

So here it is, I hope you like it!

And it's a reminder that we all need to take care of ourselves!
Have a lovely day!

Cup of Tea

 Hi!

So, here are the results of my first play with new catalogue products! I couldn't resist focussing on Starry Sky and Orchid Oasis.  But I have also used Parakeet Party and Sweet Sorbet.  Other colours used are Polished Pink (from In Colors 2021-2023) and Mango Melody (from Brights).

The stamp set is Cup Of Tea (158661) and the matching Tea Cup Dies (160186).  The patterned papers are from Tea Boutique DSP (158659) and 2022-2024 In Color DSP (159253) and Tea Boutique Cards and Envelopes (159270).

I'm also completely loving the Dots and Spots Die (159164), the minute I saw this in the catty I knew I had to have it!  And I think it's one that will get a lot of use!

This stamp set is so versatile, I can imagine using it on all kinds of cards, with or without using the tea cup, as the leaves and flowers are gorgeous on their own!

This was just so much fun! And so easy!  The first card idea is taken from page 12 of the catty.
The last of the three cards uses one of the lines of stitching from "Stitchery" (155074) (another set that is so versatile).

I hope you enjoyed looking, and if it's inspired you to play with Stampin' Up! products and there's anything you need then please get in touch!

I love them all.. but I especially love Orchid Oasis and Starry Sky. They are so lush!
And Parakeet Party is a perfect addition to the selection of Greens across the 4 colour families.. Regals, Brights, Subtles and Neutrals.
Everything you could want.. and it all co-ordinates!   Which reminds me.. I need to place another order!

And I need to get crafting!
