Hope you're having a lovely Sunday! We went out for lunch at a wee cafe that's opened up locally. And it was lovely! Haven't really been out for ages. And it was so nice not to even have to think about wearing a mask. The cafe is part outdoors and the weather is fine here today so all together a lovely way to get out of the house for a while!
Other than that, a relaxing day! There's a Stampin' Up! demo blog challenge which ends today and I just made it with this card. The theme was monochromatic, and to try and only use current catalogue.
I used Orchid Oasis as my only colour. The dies are Amazing Thanks (157816), and Hydrangea (154326), and the stamps are from Watercolor Shapes and Color & Contour.
I would usually stamp off the ink with the Watercolor Shapes but I didn't this time so that's why two of the shapes are dark. I like it though. The Ochid Oasis ink pad is so well inked, and the colour is so intense! The Watercolor Shapes are so effective, and I like the fact you never quite know what the end result will be as there are so many factors which influence the outcome; the amount of ink, the pressure you apply, the type of paper. Always a unique outcome!
